Exclusive: Global Ethics & Compliance Director – Pharma Experience Required

£90K - £120K + Bonus + Bens (Relocation Assistance Available) | West London/Thames Valley

We have been retained by our Client, an International Pharmaceutical Group, to search for an experienced Ethics & Compliance professional to join their growing business and take responsibility for their Global Ethics & Compliance programme across their Oncology Therapeutic Division across the Global Business. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Compliance & Ethics, your duties will include:
• Provide E&C advice and support to Oncology Therapeutic Area related global functions including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Public Affairs
• Provide E&C input and advice in the development of annual Global Brand and Medical Plans
• Conduct ad-hoc E&C review of new and ongoing projects individually or as part of cross-functional working groups or teams
• Implement global compliance related procedural documents including training and communication to global functions
• Identify needs for training and ensure induction and regular training are delivered or assigned
• Coordinate, mediate and facilitate resolution and decision making of compliance related matters between global functions and countries for global initiated activities
• Contribute to the development of Annual E&C Monitoring Plan and ensure E&C monitoring activities are conducted
• Provide input and contribute to the development and continuous evolution of the Global and Third Parties Ethics & Compliance Program
• Be an active member of the Global E&C function and team and work closely with all its members including at global and countries level

You should be a graduate with strong experience in a Pharma ethics & compliance role. Any previous exposure to oncology is useful but more important is demonstrable experience of Pharmaceutical Marketing and/or Market Access (which may have been gained from a business role before moving into compliance). NB this experience may have gained elsewhere globally as long as you have fluent English and EU working rights, whilst the offices are based close to some very desirable residential areas.
