Exclusive: Global Ethics & Compliance Manager – Life Sciences/Medical Grad with Pharma Compliance Experience Required

£75K - £100K + Bonus + Bens (inc Relocation Assistance) | West London/Thames Valley OR Paris

We have been retained by our Client, an International Pharmaceutical Company, to search for an experienced Ethics & Compliance professional to join their growing business and take responsibility on a Global basis for their Global Ethics & Compliance programme across their Global Neuroscience/Rare Diseases and Global Medical Affairs areas. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Compliance & Ethics, duties will include:
 
• Provide E&C advice and support to Neuroscience and Rare Diseases Therapeutic Areas related global functions including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Public Affairs
   o Provide E&C input and advice in the development of annual Global Brand and Medical Plans
   o Conduct ad-hoc E&C review of new and ongoing projects individually or as part of cross-functional working groups or teams
   o Implement global compliance related procedural documents including trainings and communication to global functions
   o Identify needs for trainings and ensure induction and regular trainings are delivered or assigned
   o Coordinate, mediate and facilitate resolution and decision making of compliance related matters between global functions and countries for globally initiated activities
• Provide Ethics & Compliance advice and support to Global Medical Affairs:
   o Ensure E&C advice, support and controls are embedded into the Medical Affairs infrastructure including procedural documents, trainings and systems for areas such as Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Communications and Scientific Publications.
   o Serves as key advisor and point of contact for non-therapeutic areas related Medical Affairs matters
• Contribute to the development of Annual E&C Monitoring Plan and ensure E&C monitoring activities are conducted
• Provide input and contribute to the development and continuous evolution of the Global and Third Parties Ethics & Compliance Program
 
You must be a life sciences graduate (or a Medical Doctor) with experience in  pharmaceutical ethics & compliance and some exposure to Medical Affairs (whether from a compliance viewpoint or direct involvement) as well as proven knowledge of the IFPMA Code, the EFPIA Codes, PhRMA Code and major laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical environment. NB this experience may have gained elsewhere globally as long as you have fluent English and EU working rights, whilst the UK offices are based close to some very desirable residential areas and the French office is in Central Paris close to transport links.
