EXCLUSIVE: PART TIME COMPLIANCE & AML MANAGER (FINTECH)

Our client, a start-up FinTech Firm, are looking to hire their first in-house Compliance and AML Officer.  under the FCA Appointed Representative regulations. Working fully remotely and reporting to the founders, responsibilities include:

  • Main point of contact for Compliance and AML related matters with the AR Host.
  • Deal with all day to day advisory issues
  • Proactively identify situations that may pose significant compliance or AML risk
  • Assist management in the development, reviewing & updating of relevant policies, procedures and business practices.
  • Implementation of a compliance monitoring plan and conducting periodic monitoring accordingly, reporting back to management to advise and resolve any issues.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years FCA Compliance and AML experience gained with a Financial Services firm, Consultancy or Regulator. While a good understanding of the FCA Handbook and AML Regulations is required, as important are good interpersonal and communication skills.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an exciting start-up company at the start of their journey where you will be influential in supporting and guiding the management team and whilst it is envisaged that while this role will begin as 2 days per week it is likely to increase as the business grows.
