COMPLIANCE & RISK OFFICER - ACCOUNTANCY/LAW FIRM IN-HOUSE COMPLIANCE OR FCA REGULATED PA DEALING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Our Client, a leading professional service firm, is seeking a Compliance & Risk Officer to ensure that all staff are current & new staff are compliant with the firms' policies with regard to personal shareholding & dealing (and other ethics & independence requirements) across their offshore offices. Duties will include;
- Carry out and monitor all related administration related to new starters, leavers and current employees.
- Assist with preparation, delivery and monitoring of training for new and current employees.
- Understand the necessity of the firm to comply with global risk management and ethics & independence requirements.
- Assist the Senior Manager and other team members in the day-to-day running of the department.
You should have at least two years' experience in an internal compliance team for professional services (accountancy or legal/fiduciary services) or else come from a PA Dealing background in an FCA regulated firm now looking to move into professional services in a more varied role.
NB We have recently returned from the Island and can confirm that it a very pleasant & safe location with the lowest crime rate in the UK, minimal commuting times, stunning scenery with lots of outdoors & marine based sports and excellent schools & public transport systems. Nonetheless it also has a lively nightlife with over 40 pubs in Douglas itself, plenty of nice restaurants overlooking the Marina or Seafront and both a theatre & cinema (or easy drive to airport and one hour flights to London – whilst the firm offers flexible working so long weekends away possible)
