Deputy MLRO & Compliance Manager – Corporate FX Onboarding & Transaction Monitoring Experience Required
£60K - £70K+ Bonus + Benefits | North West & Central London
Our Client, a growing FX & International Payments business, is looking to appoint a Deputy MLRO & Compliance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & MLRO, you will be responsible for a broad range of AML monitoring and transaction analysis & reporting as well as broader Compliance oversight, including;
· Complex corporate client onboarding
· Transaction monitoring
· Writing & maintenance of Compliance & AML policies & procedures
· Flag and investigate discrepancies where required
· Identify other AML & Compliance Risk factors
· Maintenance of Compliance registers
· Oversight of complaints
· Assist in Risk Evaluation of new products & services (including MiFID application)
· Assisting the MLRO with SARs and other related reporting
You must be of graduate calibre and have significant AML experience gained with a Corporate FX business including experience of both complex & high-risk corporate client onboarding and Transaction Monitoring . While you must have an in-depth understanding of FX systems and processes as important will be your ability to self-manage and drive to constantly improve compliance & efficiency.
Our client is a new a growing business, currently EMI authorised they are now looking to apply for MiFID licence to grow their product offering. It is envisaged that role will then be allocated SMF17 and take a much larger role across required COBs & SYSC compliance.
NB The main offices are based in the City (by Monument) however, until COVID restrictions are fully lifted there is also a requirement to be able to regularly attend meetings/training in Barnet (North West London) – so you must be able to easily commute to both locations.
